Welcome...To the Basingstoke Radio Car Club. Yes, it is finally here.

We got so fed up waiting for someone else to start a club, we decided to do it ourselves, but

it’s success is in your hands, without the interest and support from club members it is not going to

be much of a club.

Well we finally did it, Basingstoke now has an outdoor off road RC Car track. It has taken nearly 3 years (2 and

half to get the land) and lots and lots of hard work from our very dedicated and enthusiastic members, but we

are now able to enjoy the benefits. There is still plenty of work to do, but the track is running and our members

are enjoying regular race days and open practice sessions. Once work on the track is complete, we also intend to build a full time scaler and crawler course and a Bashing Bull Pen for those that just want to Bash. To keep up to date with the latest progress why not join us

on facebook www.facebook.com/#!/groups/BRCCLUB/ or on our oOple Forum www.oople.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=143.

We are currently running 1:10 Electric Only - 2WD and 4WD Buggies, 2WD and 4WD Short Course and a Vintage Class anything pre 1990.

We meet on a Wednesday night for open practice and Sunday’s for racing. Saturdays is currently build day (Tracks don’t maintain themselves you know), but will be open for practice in the very near future. Race days are only open to members at the moment whilst we iron out all the snags and finish the build, but we hope to be fully operational and open to all in June.

On the last Sunday of each Month we hang up our coats and move indoors for some 1:12 action... Racing Mardave V12’s and soon the new Schumacher Super Stox, In two classes, Saloon Stox (Stock V12’s) for some full contact racing and Super Hot Rod for some non contact modify all you want high speed action.
